3 MOUNTAIN VIEW SHORES is a lovely development with many year-round homes, it features a private boat ramp area where you may park your boat trailer for the duration of your stay. It has paved roads and central water system. Ideal for walkers and joggers. Lake location is supreme being near the mountain and the dam at the deepest, cleanest part of the lake. The land was originally owned by the Appalachian Power Company (which owns the lake) and a group of 10 investors from Bedford bought the land from the Power Company in the late 1970's and developed the subdivision comprised of over 400 lots, offering the land for sale one section per year, selling out in 4 years. Maximum Occupancy: 6 All homes are strictly limited to the number of occupants indicated. Occupancy limitations are determined by Bedford County and are based on the size of the homes septic system. For the purpose of this regulation, anyone over the age of two years is considered an occupant. This wonderful 2 level home has majestic mountain views! It is situated directly across from the mountain and the dam with an unobstructed view. Sit inside one of the 2 Florida rooms or outside on the open deck and enjoy the sailboats gliding across the miles of water in front of this house or watch the power boaters with skiers in tow, all from the comfort of this immaculate, beautifully appointed, spacious lakeside home. There is a view from every room of the house. The master bedroom is massive, ceramic master bath has a jacuzzi tub and large steam shower. Laundry with washer/dryer and 2 car garage are just off the master bedroom. Additional bedroom on the main level w/a set of bunk beds. There are multiple rooms for gathering, a living room, family room and 2 sun rooms on the main level AND a family room upstairs w/computer. There are also 3 extra bedrooms on the upper level.. Kitchen is equipped with dishes, glassware, flatware, pots and pans, coffee pot, microwave, toaster, full size refrigerator, range and dishwasher. Central A/C throughout, 2 gas grills, wireless internet, 3 TV's, VCR, DVD player and cable. Wood-burning and user friendly gas fireplace for use during the blue and green rate periods. A canoe is available for your pleasure. Paved driveway and easy access to the dock for unloading water toys and coolers. The covered boat dock has a hoist, jet ski lift, electricity, lights, all available for tenants' use (no floater). A 1400 square foot multilevel deck spans the entire lakeside of the where you can find the outdoor hot tub. *This home is wheelchair friendly, w/limitations!* Bed Sizes: 2 King, 1 Queen, 2 Sets of Bunk Beds Items to bring: Trash bags, paper goods (toilet tissue, paper towels), detergent (dish & laundry) flashlight. | CANCELLATION POLICY: If a reservation is cancelled with at least 60 days prior notice, 1/2 of the pre-paid rental deposit (less any pre-paid Travel Insurance fees) will be refundable. If a reservation is cancelled within 60 days of your arrival date, no refunds will be issued. We suggest each tenant take advantage of our Travel Insurance to protect your money paid in the event of an unexpected cancellation. | |||||||||||
