It has paved roads and central water system. Ideal for walkers and joggers. Lake location is supreme being near the mountain and the dam at the deepest, cleanest part of the lake. The land was originally owned by the Appalachian Power Company (which owns the lake) and a group of 10 investors from Bedford bought the land from the Power Company in the late 1970's and developed the subdivision comprised of over 400 lots, offering the land for sale one section per year, selling out in 4 years. Occupancy limitations are determined by Bedford County and are based on the size of the homes septic system. For the purpose of this regulation, anyone over the age of two years is considered an occupant. This wonderful family-friendly vacation home has three bedrooms and three baths. The upper-level master bedroom has a king-size bed, a TV, a Jacuzzi tub in the bath, and a sitting area overlooking the lake. The main level offers two bedrooms. There is a queen-size bed and a TV in one, and bunk beds and a single bed in the other. A crib and toddler bed are also available for your use. Also on the main level is a full bathroom, a living room, a fully-equipped kitchen, and an eating area. The living room features beautiful hardwood floors, a stone fireplace (for use during blue and green rate periods), a cathedral ceiling, a 27" TV, and a DVD/VCR. A large deck off the eating area and living room offers a gas grill, a table, chairs, an umbrella -- and great view of the lake. The lower level rec room has a wonderful wet bar, as well as a sofa bed, a 27" TV with DVD player, a full bath, and a laundry room. You can walk directly from rec room onto a lower-level deck -- and then down onto the fabulous dock. Dishwasher, washer/dryer, central A/C. The sundeck over the boat lift offers seating and lounge chairs. The water level dock boasts a great tiki bar with a mini fridge, and a TV, and tables and chairs for relaxing and entertaining. The dock is child-friendly -- with gates to all water access. There are three floating docks with room for several boats. Electricity and lights. A set of steps provides easy access to the water. The neighborhood offers a boat launch for use by our guests. This house is located next door to The Klahn Home and Redwood Cove. Enjoy meals outdoors on the deck. A gas grill is provided your use.	The upper level of the dock provides a great place to lounge in the sun.

A tiki bar with a mini fridge, TV, and plenty of seating make the dock a great lake hang out.

Steps lead from the dock into the water, great for smaller children.	The home is located in a wonderful wide cove, perfect for swimming.

The dining table comfortably seats six. The kitchen is fully equipped for all of your cooking needs.

The open living area has cathedral ceilings, a stone fireplace, access to the main level deck, and lake views.

The master bedroom has a king size bed. Louvered doors can be opened to look out to the lake and over the living area below.	A large Jacuzzi tub in the master bath provides a relaxing place to enjoy views of the lake.

Two guest rooms are on the main level of the home. One with a queen bed, another with bunk beds, a twin bed, and a toddler bed.

A family room on the lower level has a large wet bar with a mini fridge, air hockey table, large sitting area with a TV, and access to the lower level deck.
CANCELLATION POLICY: If a reservation is cancelled with at least 30 days prior notice, the pre-paid deposit will be fully refundable minus a $100 cancellation fee. If a reservation is cancelled within 30 days of your arrival date and we are unable to re-rent the property, no refunds will be issued. If we are able to re-rent the property and secure the same monies for the property owner, all monies paid by the canceling party will be refunded excluding a $100 cancellation fee.
